Hi all,
I know zilch about hammered coins and an album I received contained one of these. anyone can ID it? Can't find anything similar online
Apologies for the picture quality

Looks like a long cross and fleur de lis in the center not sure what the picture on the other side is.

I spotted the following two at http://www.bonatiele.nl/FDETUK/fram...century.html

However, I cannot tell from the pics - yours or theirs - whether this is a match. Seems to be in the same ballpark. Both are listed as:

15th century
County Flanders
Double mite nd (1467-1474)
Charles the Rash (1467-1477)
Mint: Bruges
Literature: Van Gelder/Hoc 28-3

I am not sure, however there are many places to get quotes on gold and just as there will be to sell hammer coins or get quotes on them.
