Hoping I could get some help on the grade of this. I was thinking low mint state. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look's like a high AU (55 or even 58), but could be MS too

AU-58/UNC. I don't believe it is cleaned . The obverse in general has a fairly nice strike ,but the 3 bottom stars on left side puzzle's me .Not sure if it's wear or just weak stars. By the overall look of the coin, I would put my money on weak stars .

Dustin, I think your lighting techniques need some adjustment. All the coins you are posting have the same issue - they look possibly cleaned because of the lighting, when I'm not sure they are.

I am using a paper towel for diffused lighting. I know, the coin looks cleaned in the photo but under my scope there is no sign of it being cleaned. Is it possible that I need to use something else to diffuse the light.

Also, under my scope the bottom 3 stars just look like a weak strike.

Too hard to grade from the photos as we can't see what the natural luster looks like. I agree with panzaldi, just use natural light without defusing.
