I found this in a band-aid container with a bunch of other coins in some stuff I inherited from my grandfather. I would love to know what it is. Thanks!

This is a 25 cents (santeem) from Ethiopia with the effigy of Haile Selassie. Struck with date 1936 Ethiopian era, which corresponds with 1944 AD.

Your coin appears to be a 25 Santeem from Ethiopia. Haile Selassie I. Date 1936 (1944).
