Hi there, I have some questions about an edward I coin, I'm quite sure it's real despite being sn amateur but there's a couple of things I'm wondering about
1) It's a lot more silver in colour compared to the other coins (hopefully not a bad thing)
2) the last "I" in the CIVI part on the reverse is different to the other I... it's kind of inbetween an I and a T. I've seen some I's on other coins that have differences between them but this is quite different
3) I read somewhere that they made contemporary fakes back in the period that had slight differences in the spellings etc...could this be one of those... or is it not significant that the "I" is different?
I've seen museum fake replicas and this is entirely different to those but I've no idea about professional fakes though. I did an amateur clean job on the coin, probably harshly

Also lastly, I did my research on a coin my father purchased for me listed as an Edward II coin sold at an auction. I believe it's actually either edward I or III, but I'm completely confused, any ideas? thanks guys
