this loonie when it doubled looks like it shifted. it appears to have shifed counter clockwise. here is some images. any thoughts greatly appreciated.

I'm not experienced enough to attribute the cause of this variety
But I believe it is called a Double Die Obverse (similar to That seen on early Canadian varieties)

Having taken a casual look at the overall low quality of newer Cdn minted coin, perhaps a Classic variety should be created for a type with a good strike, no doubling, chips, cracks, flaws or other imperfections. A reversal, where at one time varieties and errors were sought after, now has become the norm.

Canacoins excellent great find. this is about the most doubling. that I have found on a coin yet.

i am putting together a a coin machine. I have most of it now. I just checked this coin. there was a lot going on here. I am waiting for one more piece from Russia. if it works properly. I am hoping to get better clear photos. I will see soon. hope you all find lots of error coin.
