Wow. I guess they totally ignored that mark which runs under the chin to under the ear.

CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

jerseyben, I was mocking the grade given by PCGS. I honestly think that coin is flat ugly.

Apparently you know nothing about toned coins. Calling it ugly is quite uncalled for.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but I agree it could have been put more gently. Personally, I love toned coins, and I really like it, WheatBack!

Oh I fully agree. Regardless of how much I dislike someone's coin, I would never call it ugly. All coins deserve respect!

OK, I know I am new to all of this but, what happend to Luster, Surface and Eye Appeal?

Is the surface scratch on the obverse just toning? I dont really see any Eye Appeal.

While the Toning adds some interest and the Strike is very strong.......I just dont get how the grading works sometimes LOL.

I was in the High AU, Low MS camp.

Nice Job ChildoftheWheat!
