Apparently the Scottsdale Mint released a first release of the coin directly from them. Only 250 of them. Do you think it's a scam like other first release or early release coins?

I think its an ugly coin, way better african gorilla coins from German mints to be had than this.

I like the design but they could have contrast
The design better by frosting certain parts of
The coin so it doesn't look so smooth making
It too monotoned.
I thought these were limited at 10,000?

It's not a bad looking coin. I just don't think it is as detailed as the Maple Leaf Wildlife series. Also, I looked up the silver coins Yup7676 was talking about. They are a step above.

From a bullion investor standpoint, I would not pay about $28.00 for a Scottsdale Mint coin, when I can get a Maple Leaf Wildlife Series Coin for less than that.
