Railroad Token- I Think! I Need Help Id'ing This Token

yontan Valued Member United States 292 Posts	Posted 07/27/2016 6:52 pm I live in Hawaii, and found this token locally, but can find no mention of it. It is the same on both sides. It has one rim circle, and inside the circle it is stamped W on the north and south, and R on the left and right, with a five pointed star in the middle. I hope someone has some info on it. More likely a store token of some kind. I couldn't find it in your states token catalog pages. You can check them again, http://www.tokencatalog.com/ And the other thing is it might not even be from your state or territory. Report this Post to the Staff
Pistareen Valued Member United States 309 Posts	Posted 07/27/2016 10:54 pm Look up the Wai Water Company Railroad, now defunct, as the most likely issuer. Railroads often issued checks for wood or other materials to station agents as a means of inventory control. Report this Post to the Staff
