I obtained the below coin, and would really appreciate some expert help identifying or confirming identification of the coin. It is represented as a Hejaz piastre, dated AH1334, which is KM-24. (pre-Saudi Arabia)
Is it a piastre or a 1/2 piastre (KM-23)? The diameter is 18.5 mm, leading me to think it is a 1/2 piastre. How else can I tell? If it is a 1 piastre (as represented), then how do I tell which variety--AH1334//5 (1919) or AH1334//6/5 (1920)?
Also, the below pictures are coin obv/rev, not medal obv/rev. From what I can see, it is possible that the below coin has the obv/rev rotated 90 degrees. Or am I just out to lunch? Thoughts?
