Two weeks ago I won in e-bay 3 rolls of 1957"s bies for $15 and I just finish identifying , I found 81 of them in coc and 63 that are not in it(already contacted JC about them) 6 of the coins weren't bies( not bad for 3 rolls) . In the 81 I found 30 different LDB4 . here is one of the ones that I couldn't find.

uruman you got a fantastic return on that buy. So this one here is not on COC, so maybe one of the members here with a Cohen book might be able to look it up for you.

What you have already seems to have been an extensively thorough search did you want any of us to give it a shot on your behalf? It certainly is a nice Full BIE and the coin is in nice shape to boot.

JC is going to be a busy beaver - which is great for us once they are listed - These listings are going make it much easier for us to get our attributions. Thanks for your contribution in getting them submitted to JC.

I understand their are a lot of BIE's for the 57-D cents, Uruman. You probably have one that's listed, but in a different die stage. Nice BIE!

CoinCents , thanks I can use all the help I can get, I'll try to post 3 at the time to see if somebody likes to help like you, I don't have a Cohen book. The return on that buy has been the fun I had for the last two weeks going through them trying to match each coin on coc(it' a great help what JC has done so far), it make it easier to compare coins but when you have a list of 46 it can get a little time consuming.
CoinMaster, you're right on the 1956 looks like their are over 400 different bies. I Wonder how many 1956 cents the guy that sold them to me had to go through to get 144 bies.

Post away, I love trying to match these up. Never thought of looking for auctions for just BIE's (great idea).

This on is LDB4-1957-048.

Neat markers on this one. It helps with all the 57's. I can match it in Cohen's book. Hardy is still pending but it is a 4-EL.
