Curious if this would make MS/UNC grade or if it's a high AU at best. Thanks.

I don't see any wear, but hard to really see any hits through the toning. Cheek looks nice. That could be a really nice coin. I'll say MS63 for now.

There's some luster with this one. There's also a nice combination of rainbow/blue toning on the obverse when the light hits it at the right angle. I couldn't capture this too well in the pictures.

AU'ish - toning pattern suggests an old cleaning

At least from this shot it appears to be a clean 63 since neither full mint luster nor full strike is required at this level.

Insofar as past cleanings I'm not trained enough in identifying this type of past procedure and would be glad to see some shots or read some tips assisting to ID this on older coins...
Rest in Peace

Tough coin to grade from static photos but it sure looks as though it could be MS. I'm not seeing much in the way of contact marks either with the cheek looking very clean. I agree with @edweather, a conservative MS63.

As I said, there's a little bit of luster, but it's not a shiny coin by any means. That's probably why the pictures look somewhat dull. However, it's pretty clean. Not much in the way of marks as many have pointed out.

Tough one to grade from photos. The first photo shows a break in the surface color on the high points, eye brow, cheek, hair, cap. I'm thinking this one is a slider, AU-58

i agree. tough to grade. it looks MS but it also looks like it was dipped and retoned. for my personal collection, if they look like this, I avoid them unless they are slabbed. the surfaces look pretty good.
