If you're referreing to errors of any sort, I looked through $50 and found nothing significant...

The only thing I've found are coins which very definately have circles around the numbers and letters. As well as an extra circle next to one of the seperating dots. I thought these are common mishaps so no pictures unless someone says otherwise.

I haven't seen this but there was a recent article in Coin Values that some Monroe dollars are on quarter planchets and possibly released. The mint is claiming that none escaped but the error was found at the coin rolling facility and not at the mint so it is a possibility.

Part of the story explained that to meet production, one of the quarter lines was switched to dollar production and apparently the changed out the dies but forgot the planchets. (Doh!)

I haven't heard of any significant finding except for what Ken stated above.

If they were struck on quarter planchets, there woiuld be two things that would show right away: the weight, and the color.. I have a roll, and the color is like it should be, and the weight, I don't know what it should be. With a "face" on each end, the only way to tell anything else would be yo open it. I don't want to go that route, yet. I'll wait a bit longer. If anyone knows the weight for a shjotgun roll, please post. Thanks,
Dick

Just checked two more rolls. Many nice coins, but nothing noteworthy.
