Hey!so I Have a 1909 S Wheat penny and I Weighed, Dropped, and Magnet Tested It and Everything Checks Out....sorta, So the Ping Test Sounds a Little Off, But I Did Not Test It With Another 1909, Are 1909's Made With Different Metals? It Also Weighs 3.2 Grams, Which is a Little Weird Considering It is Only Supposed to Be 3.1 Grams. Does Anyone Have Any Other Tests I Could Do, Or Any Info That Would Help? Please & Thank You!

3.2 is within discrepancies, don't worry about that. also don't drop that coin, you can damage the rim.

post some pictures on here and we can help and see if it real or fake.

Ping tests are for internet. Please don't drop your coins

If you can post a picture of the coin here, maybe we can help identify it for you.
Rest in Peace

AND YES, PLEASE DO NOT DROP COINS.
If that is a real 09S penny, little dings and dents will deminish the value.

Do post pictures! I agree you shouldn't drop test coins of any real value. There are plenty of other ways to detect counterfeits, plus a lot of of the fakes are made from real 1909 cents that they just add a mint mark, or even VDB, to. So any test to see if the coin itself is an authentic cent would come up positive in that case.
