I need to get some tape residue () off of some BU aluminum coins. Will acetone do the trick? I know it's recommended for silver, nickel, and cupronickel, but NOT bronze. How does it do on aluminum?
It should work fine on aluminum coins, but I'm not 100% sure. By the way, It acetone IS recommended on bronze, brass, and copper coins just as long as you know to keep a close eye on them and not let the patina change too much.

I agree. I think extreme exposure to light (sunlight) is to be avoided with copper and bronze.
