Hi. I'm new to this forum. Appreciate the help!
I'm in mid-Michigan. Looking for a trustworthy appraiser. Someone who can authenticate, grade, and slab some coins for me. Any help would be appreciated.

Has anyone heard or worked with John Abbott III in Birmingham, MI. I am strongly considering bringing them in for him to evaluate. Thanks!

We can probably do the first two, authenticating and grading, on this site for free, if you post photos of your coins one at a time over on the grading forum of either Modern or Classic. Then maybe you can decide which coins you want slabbed. Just to get some idea, how big of a collection are you talking about?

Hi and thanks for the advice. My father had about 50 coins altogether but the ones I am thinking about the most are 3 gold coins from the 1864-59 era.

Ok, if you can take a decent photo of them, obverse and reverse, post them over on the Classic grading forum.
