I picked this one up today. I know that the East India Company made many of the coins in Europe, but that others were made "locally" in the Asian markets. Does anyone have any way to determine the location this one was made?

The reverse is 90 degrees counter-clockwise if that matters.

I am now showing my lack of knowledge; I assumed that they were all struck in the Netherlands.

Interesting, I had also been under the impression that they were all made in the home country. Would the locally made pieces be officially sanctioned, or contemporary counterfeits? This one certainly appears quite crude compared to the official pieces.

I too thought they were all European made until I got this one. After some research, I came across this page. It does not help me identify it for certain, but I do have leads.
