Hi, I have this silver dollar in a 1964 coin set with a weird spot on it, could it bring the value down?

Bose, I am assuming this is in a PL set correct? These sell for silver spot price all day long in ms quality, so I don't think the spot makes any difference.

if you just purchased it you over paid some, the silver value right now is about 27.00,for the complete proof like set.. there is some premium for nice coins, but your set obviously has a hole in it somewhere, the silver dollar is toning from the air getting to it..and it has been happening for years from the look of it..just fyi.
