Hi all,

Been a while since I've posted here. I'm coming back for a question. My father is inheriting a set of PCGS graded sovereigns, and he gets to pick from the two sets. I'm not too familiar with these sovereigns, and we both were wondering which set is probably the better one to pick? To clarify, he has to pick a set, he can't pick individual coins from different sets to keep. Here is a list of coins in each set. If you would like pictures of both sets I would be happy to post.

Set #1

1918-C PCGS MS62 Sovereign (Canada) 1/4 oz
1918-I PCGS MS63 Sovereign (India) 1/4 oz
1915-S PCGS MS64 Sovereign (Australia) 1/4 oz
1927-SA PCGS MS65 Sovereign (South Africa) 1/4 oz
1925 PCGS MS64 Sovereign (Great Britain) 1/4 oz

Set #2

1917-C PCGS MS62 Sovereign (Canada) 1/4 oz
1918-I PCGS MS63 Sovereign (India) 1/4 oz
1915-S PCGS MS64 Sovereign (Australia) 1/4 oz
1928-SA PCGS MS64 Sovereign (South Africa) 1/4 oz
1925 PCGS MS65 Sovereign (Great Britain) 1/4 oz

I really doubt it matters, as they were both originally bought for the same price by my Grandfather, but we just wanted to make sure.

Thanks

WOW so similar. Why not just flip a coin for the results.

Thinking the same thing, I guess I just wanted to make sure one or more of those wasn't a key date.
