Yesterday driving from work to my usual pick up bank I take a new hwy that is usually good. But yesterday there was an accident on an overpass, which jammed everything up for about 10 miles or so.

I was too late to get to one bank as they closed at 5pm (I was over 30 minutes behind schedule)

I had rerouted and by the time I got to my second bank I was about a full hour behind. (traffic sucked!)

Then waiting inline, there were to customers who were both "THOSE" customers! You know the ones that either have a billion things they need to do or have some seriously obscure issue which requires 3 people from the bank to figure out and finally say that you need to book an appointment to see some specialist in the bank. (I HATE THOSE WITH A PASSION)

So I ended up waiting a full 30 minutes in a line of 5 people. I was literally getting leg cramps

when it was my turn I at least got to be at the sit down wicket, which was good. After asking for as many dime and quarters they could sell me, she went into the vault and came back with the bad news...

No Dimes for you!

However she has 2 boxes of quarters, I almost fell out of the seat trying to give her my money.

The first box was a full sealed box from Gardaworld so I was not too impressed (nothing newer than 2001)

the second box however the second box was much better

I have never opened a box and seen silver before, so this was a nice treat after the heck of an afternoon.

I was hoping it was only the tip of the iceberg, and I would get a bunch of silver, but alas it was the only piece in the box.

Oh, bummer.

Well, one silver is better than none at all.

End-rollers are the best! Nice silver. I haven't yet found a silver quarter in a roll. Congratulations!
