Hi All

I wanted to Start building an memorial page for my mother who just passed away. Her birth year is 1947 and I wanted to get what are fair prices for all the US coins made during that year in AU or above conditions.

Thanks so much
ST

Go to PCGS Coin Facts, and check each denomination for 1947, and you'll see approximate prices for certified coins, in all grades. This will give you a starting point.

Sorry to hear about you Mother. I've had a disturbing number of people in my family die at age 69, not sure why that age is cursed. Anyway, that should be a year where it is fairly easy to get high grade coins relatively inexpensively. You could probably do the whole set for $40 in AU-MS condition if you are talking one of each denomination. All three mint marks would triple it obviously. You could even add in the commemorative half for another $20 or so as the Booker T. Washington halves are among the cheapest in the series.
