Could you show me the difference between a Canadian cent 1859 NARROW and WIDE?

The "wide" 9 is really the old name for an 1859/8, where the 9 was handpunched, on the working die, over an 1858 reverse die. Here is the discussion on another board, but you will find this discussed all over any coin site for Canadian coins for years. Just go through the archives or old posts/threads.
