Recently I found an extra 0 (zero) on the half dollar in a year 2000 mint proof set. The zero is under the W in WE and is about the same size as the 0 in 2000. I can't get my photos to upload to the forum. Can anyone tell me what this is? I am a new collector and this might be common? Help please--Thank You

It might be a dropped letter. We really need pics to be sure.

its a contaminant on the coin if its the one pictured in the error forum. It actually makes it less desirable because of the ugly stain thats on the coin, if it were a dropped letter it would be more desirable to error collectors
