my dad has been trying to find the value of this coin, but I cant seem to find any info on it... please help

What an interesting object! Did you notice the words "fac-" and "similie" on the reverse? That means it's a copy, but more accurately it's an entirely new creation since someone took the Washington quarter design and added "One Dollar", and that 1865 date. Since it doesn't quite resemble anything the US Mint ever made, I find it very interesting--especially that "Il Duce" pose by Washington.

this is some form of fantasy piece which was made by someone besides the US mint. As was said it is using the Washington quarter dollar design with a value of one dollar and the date, well lets just say that is a fantasy also since the design they used wasn't used by the US mint until 1932
