If authentic it would be silver, not gold. The Syracuse decadrachm with the Arethusa obverse and quadriga reverse is among the most commonly faked coins. Yours is a particularly beautiful copy, imo. If authentic it would be worth a small fortune. Given that it is gold, I don't know that the artist really meant to deceive.

This is one of the most beautiful and rare type of ancient coinage. This type was only struck in silver and if real would be over $100K. You piece is a copy made into a piece of jewelry. If real gold it would be would it's gold content value. I nice look decorative piece.
