I will asume you know who Erte was so I will just say that he was probably best known as a fashion designer. This gallery sells medallions and such with his designs. http://docnhurdscollectibleart.com/...tion-medals/From what I can see much of his stuff is put out in "limited Editions" Heavy on the editions and light on the limited. Posters of his images are often put out with different colors and papers for bakgrounds and sell for four figure prices. It is much the same with medalions different sizes shapes and metals so I am hardpressed to give anything like a realistic prices for this.

WOW! What a huge difference between the prices on the two examples. I would like to sell my piece so what would my next move be?

Keep in mind that many people on ebay have unrealistic asking prices for things, and that neither of the items found above have actually sold.

Searching completed sales you find that the Kiss, above auction asking $549.00, sold twice recently, once for $129 and once for $149, nowhere near $549
