Sometimes it is hard to tell if a coin has been cleaned. There is difference of opinion about what "cleaning" means. Some people think just dipping a coin and removing little bits of grime with a que tip is cleaning. I guess the safest thing to do is just to not do anything with a coin you buy for serious money. I am wondering why this coin was not slabbed to being with by dealer?

This story will now come to an end.
Stopped at the LCS today and asked about the coin and it was sold recently.

Oh well, I didn't come home empty handed I picked up the following coins:
NGC MS70 2004 Lewis&Clark $1
1941D Walking half Raw, I'm guessing MS63 with a little toning
1941S LWC with large MM Raw
1941s LWC with small MM Raw
1942s LWC Raw

I will be posting pics of the the above coins in the appropriate sections soon for grading inquiries.

HEY....
If a CCF member purchased the Isabella in this post, please let us know if it was cleaned and if you had it graded or not.
Post pics too.

Thanks

Not the ending we expected, but at least you found something else to fill the void.
