Grade opinions for this 1936 Buff ?

I think it is a MS-63 perhaps a 64 ,What do you think ?

Just for you, Rick, I'll give it a VG-8.

Seriously, I think it would make at least MS-63, but the reflection on the buffalo makes it hard to tell on the high spots. Are those nicks on the buffalo?

There is one hit on the buff, high on the front shoulder.

sorry about the reflection !! the coin has very reflective lusterous surfaces .

It would be very difficult for me to see any signs of circulation in that buff, even applying my (over)active imagination. I think you got a winner there, Rick! I know you're fond of error coins; is this a variety buff or standard business strike? Also, do you own it or are you considering it and has it be graded by a TPG?

I don't know enough about Buffalos to grade this one properly but if you send it to me I will spend a great deal of time studying it for you :-)

Definitely at least MS63. Depending upon what TPG you send it to, I think it could go to 64. Very pretty!
