Hi. I'm new to the forums and was wondering about some coin rolls I found. I got them from the bank and the have loomis written on the side. The weird thing is I opened one and there were a bunch of very nice grade cents all from the same year and mint. From what I can tell the other rolls have the same year cents in them. Are these cents by any chance proofs or uncirculated? If so does anyone know how much the rolls are worth? Thanks!

To CCF , They are better known as OBW rolls .( original bank wrapped .) Usually all the coins in the roll will be all one date and mint , and all will be uncirculated .

Any where's from $1.50 to $2.50 per roll if purchased from a dealer.

Thanks! Will they go up if I hold onto them? It's sort of cool because I got them for race value randomly from the bank.

Yes , if you hold onto them for 50 years they probably would go up a couple of bucks .

Looks like a lighting trick to me. Pics without glare would help but it is most likely machine damage

Thanks for the reply. These were taken under a microscope and it is extremely hard to get pics with no glare because they are new and shiny. If it is machine damage though why would it show up on the other coins? I could be wrong but I thought that Machine Doubling is just when the die gets misaligned and would only show up on a single cent whereas doubled dies are when the whole die is doubled and therefore would show up on all of them.
