Can anybody tell me if those DD and errors from Canadians coins have a good resale value.

I cant find any books beside the Charlton Standard Catalogue.

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Al

I personally never looked at it from a "resale" perspective since all the ones I sold were those I found myself. I would not go out and buy a "mule" or a "double date" coin until rarity is well established... 10-20 years later :).

Hi Marc,

Is there any Canadians DD coins known yet? I know that we have many varieties but DD, this, I've never heard. Machine Doubling I've seen a lot.
Just wondering, since I'm a Quality Manager, I really enjoy finding defects, errors, and maby new varieties. Could you tell me were I could find any data regarding new and old varieties? Any thing would be great.

Al,

One that comes to mind is Charest:

This is from Pierre himself telling how to order the book via Paypal or by sending a check to the address below:

Bonjour Marc, par la poste ou par Paypal. Par Paypal, à https://www.paypal.com en envoyant $38.95 CDN à charest.pierre@videotron.ca ou par la poste à:

Yes Dick, Pierre confirmed that he only sells "the book" (the CD is discontinued).

I have that! It was a great way to research, especially since you can pull pics of varieties to share with others. Sigh...what a shame, perhaps the book was getting copied/distributed?

Good point. I think it was too easy to make copies and distribute. The alternative is OCR (outch).

Marc, I see what has to be done. I'll "stash" ny CDROM, and order the "BOOK", the one made with "recycled pulp made from recycled trees! That one I can handle!

"No sooner said, than done"!
I just used the linmnk to remind Piere that I am in his files, as a customer, and that I want the "book", not a CDROM. I also mentioned it had been and will be paid via PayPal. I hope he sends the book. All I need is a confirmation that it will be sent, and PayPal will take care of the details! I have the 2005 ED., but this is 2008.
