I checked the Register of Seated dollar Varieties and there are 14 obv dies known for this date http://www.seateddollarvarieties.com/1871.shtml NONE of them have this large 8. They all have the tops of the digits at the same level. I think ANACS got fooled by a fake. Report this Post to the Staff
