Just read a news articular about this Silver coin to be unveiled here in Sault Ste. Marie on Nov. 1 It doesn't say time just in the morning and does not give a denomination.
Has anyone heard anything?
Also if they unveil it here do they have it for sale?

Well I couldn't get in to the Unveiling it was for guests and invited people. I also found out they did not have any coins there. Went to the post office and bought one and went back and waited till it was over then went in.

I believe the lady on the left is Christine Aquino Director, Communications Royal Canadian Mint.

The woman on the right is Sandra Hanington, CEO, Preident and Master of the Mint.

You are probably right CC they did tell me there names but I forgot you was you,
that means the one on the right is the signature on the left side of the certificate with Bondar.

Trully commemorative.
Well done with the signature!
The coin is convex, but I would try to display it in the "floating" frame....

Thanks for sharing your experience and pics!!
That's a great memory right there.
Very cool to have your coin signed by a Canadian icon on the day the coin was released.

It was in a meeting room that has the seats going uphill, a full class of aviation students, people she worked with here and other invited guests, so I guess 100 people.
