1973-D found in pocket change this week, for some reason it didn't feel right when I was picking through my pile of change, it wasn't very smooth, in fact it was kinda rough, and thats really the only reason for me taking a 2nd look at it before it was gonna be tossed in the pile with the rest of my coppers to go though whenever I get bored or have some down time. Besides that, pics speak for themselves I guess, I've never seen one like this before in person, but it's pretty neat either way. I couldn't find a listing for it on maddies.com, in fact they dont have any 73's listed at all (for pennies) currently, unless I missed something. Anyways I hope I'm correct in labeling this as a die clash, but I'm still learning new things everyday! Thanks!

Nice clash... I have a 1974 that is very similar, Funny the way the clash looks. Could dies not be parallel to each other? Don't know if that possible though.

Looks like a nice one.!

Yes, it's possible to have a rotated die clash.

Again, nice find!

I see two clash lines of the head on the reverse. Possibly a rotated double clash?
