Business will have cartwheel luster, while PL will have mirrored fields. So for business strike, when you move the coin around in light, you'll see a "cartwheel" of light turning around the coin, like it's doing a cartwheel. For PL, you will see that the fields are like mirrors.

If you're still unsure, you can look at the strike, as it is different for business and PL. For business strike, you won't always be getting nice squared rims and well defined details. For PL, the will show nice wide rims and slightly better detail (I guess recognizing it comes with experience). In the coin you showed, the reverse has nice wide rims and sharp detail on the canoe, the two riders and the trees. It looks kind of like a PL to me. But from the obverse, the rim is much thinner and looks more like a business strike. So i'd say business strike
