AU details, cleaned/recolored, spot removed obverse / right field. Regardless, it's still a very scarce and very valuable coin, even if it does make my head hurt to look at it for long. I wouldn't mind owning one of these but they're all very expensive in any condition.

Update ...

The PCGS Wizards have rendered their opinion ... in line with my expectations when I purchased the coin raw ...

1955-LWC-DDO#1---Grade-Opinions?

It is the King of the LWC variety ... and indeed makes me dizzy every time I gaze at the obverse.

Enjoy - David

Congratulations. A beautiful example well deserving of the grade.

One of the coins everyone wants, but so few have.
