For Colonial Acres, it 15% fee if you pay by cheque, debit, cash, money order, e-transfer or wire transfer. PayPal or credit card 18%
There is no HST if it s pure silver or gold. For the 5 oz penny there is no tax at all.

For the record, the penny sold for $494.50 (including taxes). The 5 penny set sold for $414.00 including taxes.
A special penny wrap roll went for $79.35
A Moonlight Fireflies went for $207.
The biggest bargain was the 1 Kilo Eyes of Spirt bear that sold for $1000, issue price was $2300.

And where the initial issue price was high - it clearer. When you have the coin for which approximate "spoken" market value is X, when you will try to sell it, the selling price will be 20% less.

I tuned in for the last few hours and bookmarked some of the items for future reference. Nothing of interest for me this time around that I could afford. Looking forward to the Boxing Day bonanza next month. Surprising to see how high some of the lots went. $356.50 for a straight 7 proof-like set plus taxes and $494.50 plus taxes for a 2008 Wedding proof set tells me that there are some collectors with lots of money to burn! Quote: never tried these auctions before. do we have to pay a fee after? Their September 4th auction was my first experience purchasing anything online this way. Quite an eye opener for me and glad I took the plunge.

The 2007 set has a unique silver loonie, the 2008 sets all use the same loonie, so the 508 mintage is sort of misleading, but can't argue with marketplace
