This appears to be a Chinese cash coin older than the eighteenth century. There are no characters on the reverse.
Any Help IDing it would be appreciated.

Song dynasty.

Looks like it's read clockwise, rather than the "sign of the cross" pattern. Last two characters are yuan bao, so I think that means 2 cash?

Yes, Northern Song and read clockwise.
According to Hartill:
Emperor Zhen Zong (988-1022).
Xian Ping yuan bao read clockwise.

There are "ordinary" and "smaller" coins, an iron version, and "broad rim" coins in three sizes. This could be the smallest broad rim or one of the first three types depending on size.

There are "yuan bao" coins in several sizes so yuan bao doesn't indicate denomination. Hartill says "yuan bao" is "Original or large currency". (Tong bao is Universal Currency and Zhong bao is Heavy currency.)
