Can't Upload Any Pics ! - Coin Community Forum

eaglefoot Pillar of the Community United States 6326 Posts	Posted 03/18/2008 4:15 pm It says..."Cannot display the webpage".....every single time I get to the screen to "upload" my pics.....I hit "upload" and "that" everytime ! Twice I got other things to go through.....but none of the pics I have of recent things I want to post. I don't know how or why the other 2 worked..... Computer idiot here.... I click on the green camera icon on the reply section, the upload screen comes up, I browse to the folder I want, select the pic....and it doesn't work.... Report this Post to the Staff

Ha Ha It's the "idiot 'me' thing" that I'm struggling with here ! It's exactly as I laid out above here.......after I click the little green icon.....the proper screen comes up....then I click browse......i open the folder containing my pics.....i choose my pic....click on upload.......AND EACH AND EVERY TIME IT SAYS......"CANNOT DISPLAY WEBPAGE"......possible problems it says to hit the back button or refresh...and stuff....... I spent SEVERAL HOURS YESTERDAY AFTERNOON (of my work day!) trying different things and putting the pics in other folders, etc. etc..... I kept getting more and more and more frustrated at this not working....I even got our college kid secretary into my office to let her try.........and SHE CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT EITHER and she has NO PROBLEMS posting dozens and hundreds of pics on her computer ! I'm beyond frustrated.....I'm just angry.......probably moreso because of my own ineptness about computers and never learning how to do certain basic things..... So.....i suppose I'm beyond help ? Metalman Pillar of the Community United States 7123 Posts	Posted 03/19/2008 11:19 am Eaglefoot why don't you ask for the gallery that you have here on CC ? you can upload larger files and then just copy and paste the URL into the post and load the picture like Bobby's . of course that gallery is limited to coin photo's ,, all others will need to be hosted somewhere else . like photobucket . http://photobucket.com/ its fast and free to use only takes a couple of minutes to sign up and the same posting is available ,just copy the IMG url and paste it into the post body .
