Hi All,

I've created a tracker using excel...Yes the noob software normal people who cannot understand MS Access use... It was designed to track your collection as you buy U.S. Junk Silver & Bullion. It is in no way as complex as it could be. But it's version 1.0.

Here is the Youtube tutorial on the spreadsheet:

Here is the link to my blog post with the screenshots and link (towards the bottom) to download from DropBox:
Bullion & Junk Silver Tracker Tutorial and Excel Spreadsheet

I have left the document unlocked so users that download it may edit it as they see fit.

This is my first attempt at creating something like this, and I would love to hear any comments if you use it.

Best

Nothing wrong with Excel (spreadsheets). I prefer them myself.

Have you thought about using the "Get External Data" tool to scrape the current spot price from the web? This would allow you to calculate the value of each line item (and a sum of all line items) at the current spot price without having to enter it every time you enter the file.

Errorcoins222,

Great suggestion. However I'm wondering if that would require the file to be saved online somewhere like a sharepoint folder. I will look this up. Thanks again for suggesting this!
