Just a wonderful example.
What do you mean, "Used to mine"?

This has been a good show thus far, but we are getting close to the end. There are just three more days of what seems like a very short two weeks.
What is next, Generalissi-Moe?

Not much compared to many of the coins on this thread, but I've been looking forward to sharing this coin because it's what got me back into the world of coin collecting. When I dabbled as a teen I always had a thing for this beautiful series, but never got around to acquiring one. Fast forward 15 years. This summer I realized "Hey, I actually have enough money now to buy things I want on occasion!" and so stopped by my LCS and picked out a nice shiny coin. Now, with a bit more experience, I'd say that while the coin may have AU detail, it sure looks like it's been cleaned and I wish the owner had mentioned that. :-/ But I'm still happy to finally have one, and have enjoyed learning on the way.

I'm just a little late, but this lovely 1926 came in the mail today. It rests in an NGC MS-63 holder.

Before I went nuts for Barbers - I was better known for my SLQ sets. Too many to count - sold off - rebought - then upgraded - started all over again. For a few years, I was the number one set [ with varieties ] at PCGS. I believe one of my sets - still ranks # 5 all time finest. Seems we are on 1928's... my nicest 1928 was my 28-D in 66 FH. I tried a few times for a 67 FH - finally gave up. I never received the edited images - showing the REV and OBV side by side.

Now that I located the collection on Photobucket - { my account is a mess - putting it mildly } Here are a few other 1928's... a duplicate... 1928-S in PCGS 65 I'm pretty wrapped up in Barbers - and hardly ever go back into my old SLQ sets' images.... I have another file - God only knows what's in it...? ...lol... Oh yeah... some one took it upon themselves to do this for me... Its a complete set - 99% PCGS - the overdate is a PCGS 58 [ almost FH ] ...the 19-S was a 64 FH... The 27-S was a 63 - I hated it - and never found one I ever liked...
