Fiat 500x Ad Causing CCF To Freeze Up

Every time the Fiat 500x advertisement appears underneath the first post, CCF starts becoming jerky and sometimes unresponsive. The problem resolves itself when the ad is no longer on the screen, making me believe that the graphics in the ad take up a lot of data.

Suggestions other than just dealing with it?

I am on an iPad.
