Hello everyone,

I'm interested in picking up a binder with pages for 2x2s to store lots of miscellaneous stuff. A lot of it sentimental. Both classic coins (barber series and Buffalo nickels), as well as some modern I have pulled from circulation myself.

Any thoughts or opinions are greatly appreciated. I don't mind spending more for something that will last. I'm looking for a binder that fits nicely on a bookshelf (not too oversized), is not prone to pages binding or getting curled, and is generally well built/sturdy.

Thanks again for your assistance!

i would just recommend picking up some 2x2 pages at your local coin store for about 1$ a page, and a couple of 3 ring binders from the dollar store for now..

"The Purple Penny" is owned by one of our Australian Members and is where I get all my album pages and albums.
The products are of excellent quality and are definitely PVC free, The costs are very reasonable as well.
I am not sure what the shipping costs would be to the US though But I do highly recommend these albums and pages
Rest in Peace

Buy one of the zipper binders so coins won't fall out of your binder.

I've known more than one collector that had a loaded 2x2 fall out of the binder and never found it again. I once picked up a $10 Indian at a show that had fallen out of a binder. Luckily we did find the owner.

Buy the binders with the metal zippers, and, no nothing in those binders will hurt your coins. I've been using them for 40 years without any toning, even on red copper.

I have a few large notebook sized binders for those 20 slotted plastic pages for 2x2's. I use one for excess Proofs that have no where else to go.

I just got supplies in to start a binder. I ordered both 12- and 20-pocket pages from ebay making sure the listing stated PVC-free (12 pockets because I first got 2.5" Saflips according to what TPGs wanted).

Beyond that, I went to Wally World for a binder, hoping to find PVC-free and, lo and behold, an Avery HD binder with PVCfree printed on the front label (I guess they've realised the market).

The 20-pocket pages I got were BCW and a little over 50c per sheet with free shipping. The 12-pockets were Guard House and a similar price per sheet.
