Coin looks like it is either silver or nickel minted penny because has a shinny silverish color also it weighs 3.2 grams and CANT be picked up by a magnet does it have a good chance that it's a genuine error copper cent
Welcome to the forum. At 3.2g, it is only slightly heavy for a penny, I would tend to think that at some time, somebody tried electrolysis on this coin and plated it with something, or even painted it. in 43, our mint was not making foreign coins, so it would not likely be an off metal strike. If it was struck on a dime, nickel, or quarter planchet (blank coin) the image of the penny would be significantly distorted (cut off etc)
to be sure you could take it to a local coin shop and have it XRF to determine the actual content of the coin.
