This Toronto streetwear company is using the Gold Maple Leaf as their company logo and the GML affixed on shoes, clothing, bags.

I remember the Mint actually sued someone using an image of a Penny for their CD cover. I can only imagine they will not be pleased to see their GML being used as an actual corporate logo. :/
