Is there a consistent relationship between top of obverse image and top of reverse image for, say, 8 Reales silver cob coins? The two coins whose images are shown are inconsistent with respect to that. Also the two coins shown are extreme opposites in appearance. One looks like it was buffed and it is heavier and thicker than the other. The other is very pitted from corrosion, particularly the reverse, and I am not sure that silver would pit to this extent. Any assistance on any of those topics would be great.
