You can try a pure acetone soak, but that looks like serious corrosion that can't be fixed.

Only with Acetone. If that doesn't work nothing can be done that won't ruin the coin's value

It seems more of a green fluffy texture than a acidity burn, it also has about 25% die rotation yeah I don't want to ruin it, , call me confused I don't clean coins uh oh

Soak it in Acetone in a tightly closed glass jar for 24 hours , make sure there is more than enough Acetone to cover the coin ,don't be afraid to swish it around . go ahead and carefully apply Q-tip . Also a tooth pic in fast recipient motions up and down on areas where most of crud is . Place coin in fresh batch of Acetone, repeat process if necessary Then use Verdi-care on it according to directions .
If that doesn't work then I'm afraid nothing can be done .

Find a similar penny that's not a variety and practice on it first. Than find another and soak it in vinegar with a little salt. Soak for exactly 3 minutes with a flip after the first 1 1/2 minutes. Immediately afterwards rinse with water. See for yourself which method works best.

I think that the vinegar/salt will dull the coin - I haven't tried it but I recall using ketchup on coins as a kid and it dulled the coin. Personally, I'd opt for Tony's method. Try the acetone soak for the nonorganic crud and then the VerdiCare for the verdigras. Use a moistened toothpick as Thad instructs; some green will lift almost on it's own when conserving the coin. Hard stuck green will not come off without risk of damaging the coin. Leave that alone; the VerdiCare will stop/slow further corrosion.

Up to three minutes is okay. Anymore than that dulls it. Where people go wrong is they try to get every bit of the green off and leave it in too long. Three minutes makes a good improvement. No toothpicks or rubbing recommended. He can try on non-variety coins and choose a method. I just thought I'd offer him another option. With this coin, he has nothing to lose. lol Remember Iwanndo, not 3 minutes and one second, just 3 minutes and rinse with water.
