How many of you are 'young at heart' or have a child who likes to create things from scratch? PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER AGE 7. THIS KIT HAS SMALL PIECES.......CAUTION IS ADVISED ! Up for grabs is a CoinStruction kit. You, if you are "Young at Heart" or your child enjoys using his/her imagination creating a 'bridge' or anything else that comes into their minds. BTW I want to see a picture of what was created with this. Sign up for the drawing here. Tell me who will enjoy this kit more if not you..and why.Drawing will be held [1st] April Fool's Day mila_ Edited by Mila_cent 04/01/2008 12:26 am

Yes Topher, the one of the same. quote: Lol me too..... Though I'm curious as to why this is called coinstrution? Is there some coins in there that I would like...
This item was part of a purchase I made for Topher who was searching for counterstamped Lincoln's. The counterstamped cents are in Canada with Topher. I have no use for this so I am offering it as a giveaway.
However, I will include these Ugly roll of cent I have no interest in searching, along with another roll which I put together. I pulled out any dates I needed and didn't bother to search for any varieties or errors.mila_

Both I and my two youngest (6 and 9) would like this. We love legos (although I don't share because they lost all of my cool lights and spinny pieces)

Thats pretty cool, I wish I had a kid, so I could justify wanting it! But alas, I fear it would just be more junk laying around if I had it.

My son inherited my inquisitive nature about mechanical things. I just hope he doesn't take apart his sister's bike when he turns 6 (this summer!) He loves putting things together such as puzzles and legos. He likes to 'borrow' my tools and go around the house 'fixing' things. he loves to count my coin collection. I have 100's and 100's of wheats that I need to go through and everything I spread them out on the table, he is right there counting, stacking, dividing. This coinstruction thing sounds like hours of fun...if he can get it away from me!...

Sounds good, sign me up. My kids (4 year old daughter and 9 year old son) both love Legos and Knex building sets. They both also have inherited my love of coins. My daughter is happy with a bag full of pennies for now, but my son already wants "real" coins. I give him an eclectic batch of my duplicates, including US and foreign as well as foreign paper money. With my son, I require him to use his atlas to give me a report about each item I give him, including where its from, the geography of each place, etc. Its my way of making sure that he actually gets some of this information since the no child left behind act ensures they teach nothing but reading and math at school.

Guys, I am concerned and I want to stress that this kit has SMALL pieces.
I have added an image of one of the 'packets' alongside a dime for you all to see the extent of my concern. Now..if you are still interested, for a child under 7 years of age,
YOU MUST PROMISE ME THAT YOU OR OTHER ADULT WILL BE SUPERVISING.rggoodie..how old is your grandson? This will be a random drawing and I will be assigning numbers according to your post.mila_

I wouldn't worry about the small size, my four year old acts like she is going on 12. Besides, I would never let the kids play without me, it looks like too much fun.

You wouldn't believe how useful they come in! Bank tellers don't get annoyed when you drop a line like: "$100 worth of pennies? Oh, my nine year old likes to look through them and find old coins." Here's a hint: No one knows if you have a kid or not so you can just make one up. Oh and I will definatly supervise my children as they watch me play with this!
