I picked this up the other day at a dealer. Until I removed it from the 2x2, I didn't notice how reflective the fields where (more than pic),
and that cool die crack through GE in "GEORGIVS".

Kurt, nice coin man. I hope you go it for a decent price. Its really nice to see an American that collects Canadian

Snaz, thanks! Generally I think American coins are overgraded/overpriced, and Canada has a lot of great keys and varieties! I did OK on this one...it was all of $7.50

like the 1909 s vdb! strange the 1909 s ind is twice as hard to find

Toniblab--right, the 09-S VDB was hoarded at the onset, which is why so many good examples survive.
At 309K, the 09-S IHC mintage is a bit lower, but hoarded too which might explain the lower price? As a whole, I think early Lincoln cents are more volatile than IHCs.

Speaking of the fields on your cent, Kurt, Do you or more likely, anf Can. Collectors have any knowledge as to how the coins handled, etc from the coining rooms to the distribution points? Can this be another case, (so common in our coins), of bag marks?
