Hi Laura. Your 2016 no mint mark cent was minted in Philadelphia. There were roughly 4.7 billion minted. Source: http://lincolncents.net/lincoln-cent-mintages/

Laura - cool, you're from Alaska. Yeah, I can't imagine too many Philly coins getting up your way. You can order some rolls on ebay. But, now if you get a 2017 with no mint mark then you will have "A Find". Because for 2017 only they put the P on the Lincoln cents that were minted in Philadelphia. This year will be highly collectible going forward because they are only doing it for this year (or so they say).

Hope you keep coming back.

But it will probably be a "highly collectible" coin with a 4 billion plus mintage. That means there will only be one for every two people on earth.

Well I figured half of them would rot away. I still think keeping a roll or 2 of the uncirculated for this year is a grand Idea.
