Seriously. Low mintages, silver issue, and fairly reasonable prices. Even the 1950 proof is fairly priced considering its 51,000 mintage. I hope to own more of these soon!

Do you own any Franklin proofs? I have a feeling these are going to continue to grow in value. But even if they don't, who cares? These are great looking coins.

Underrated? Not if you have a cameo in 67-68, well, according to that Tomaskas dude on his coin peddling show!!

I'm 3 coins away from a proof 66 cameo set. Love the series.

I have always been disappointed by the lack of hair detail in the proofs of these.

I have one 1962 with a mild cameo. I like watching Tomaska. That show is one that I trust.

I think all moderns are underated, its okay though, it leaves more fruit on the tree for those who are paying attention.. one day the high grades will be gone and prices will be crazy!!

Some of the early proof moderns are quite hard to find in CAM or DCAM.

I love me some Franklin Proofs. I am 4 coins away from a Cameo Set in 66 or better. 50, 51, 52 and 56 Type 1.

In a group of mixed 90% I recently purchased, there was a 1962 proof half. I don't think pictures do them justice as they are beautiful coins!

@dkillett, I did not think of the 1956 type 1 so I'm exactly where you are at for the cameo proof Franklin set.
