That thing looks as if godzilla cleaned it. And look at that scratch across the cheek... ouch...

I can't even tell if that's wear on the coin, but I'd have to say AU details.

I bought this coin over 10 years ago because "I just had to have a gold coin that I could hold in my hands!" LOL The dealer told me the coin was a really great coin, great details, but it had problems and I wouldn't hurt this coin because of the problems. When I saw the "X" below the eye on the obverse I could just see someone marking that to check if it was real. They did it that way because they didn't have any teeth and couldn't bite it

The sad part of this story is that I paid $175 for the coin. If it was AU no problems I would now have a coin that was worth more than what I bought it for but with those problems I may never realize my entire purchase price......and yes, Godzilla did clean this coin. I'd like to take some buckshot to Godzilla's backside for doing it too!

If it's any consolation, it's worth about 230 in gold alone at today's prices.
